The three passes trek is the ultimate Everest circuit, it rises from Lukla to Chhukung, crossing the 5535m Kongma La to Lobuche and Everest Base Camp, continuing over the 5420m Cho La to Gokyo, then crossing the 5345m Renjo La to Thame and Namche Bazaar. Only for the truly adventurous.

I traveled by plane to Tehran Imam Khomeini Airport, 50km south of Tehrans city centre. I boarded a 5 hour Lufthansa direct flight from Munich to IKA and my bike was loaded on the same plane without any modifications, no wrapping, no need to lower the air pressure, even the pedals and handlebars were accepted "road ready". read more.

Mountains Germany

16 countries and their highest summits - by fair means, cycling between the 16 ascents and no artificial oxygen. There are the Seven Summits and of course 14 Eight-thousander, but 16 is bigger than 14 and 7, so I call this the ultimate challenge, the last adventure.
